Influenster Review: Lancome Products

I’m sorry that I’ve been MIA, but I am back with another review! Hopefully I can continue writing every week, but giving you guys advance notice, I will be super busy during these next few months!

Influenster and Lancome sent an influenster box full of Lancome products for me to try. The Lancome products that were included in the box were: Renergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra, Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate, Skin Feels Good Foundation, and Prismatic Plump. After about 2-3 weeks of using the products, here are my thoughts:

Prismatic Plump Lip Gloss: This was my favorite product that was sent to me in the box. I am a lippie person, so I was excited to try it. Not only is this a beautiful lip gloss but it is also a lip plumper as well. The effect wasn’t that dramatic at all, which is normal for lip plumpers (I’ve yet to find one that really works like a lip injection lol).

EXCUSE MY FACE! This is my face without makeup or anything else. My face fresh out of the shower. This was how my face looked about 3 weeks before using the Lancome Products.

Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum:  This serum is supposedly used to help dullness and uneven texture skin. It is suppose to leave your skin more radiant as well. I used this serum after my light skincare routine to better see the results from solely just these products. I like this serum because it is very lightweight when I apply it onto the face. It also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I did notice that my face was radiant but after a few more days, my face just looked the same.

Renergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra: This moisturizer is supposedly used to help dark spots,  loss of firmness and elasticity, and fine lines and wrinkles. Like most moisturizer, this made my face super oily throughout the day. Applying this after the serum just made my face uncomfortable. Within a few days, my skin felt even more oily and itchy.

After about 1.5 weeks of using these two products, my face broke out. I thought that maybe that this was just a purging stage for my skin; however, by the third week, my face keeps breaking out, especially my forehead. Overall, my face looks absolutely terrible. I normally don’t have breakout either. You can see pictures below (excuse my face again lol).

I’m not sure whether it is solely just the moisturizer, serum, or the combination of both that made my face break out, but I stopped using both and had to go back to my regular regimen to get rid of the breakout and make my face clear and smooth again. I will never use these two products ever again.

Skin Feels Good Foundation: This foundation can be just a tinted foundation or you can layer it to be a regular foundation. I like to use a thin layer and that is enough coverage for me. However, this foundation is buildable to the coverage that you like. I like this foundation because it is very lightweight and it does my skin look flawlessly and glowy as well. Check out the two pictures below (wearing nothing but the foundation and eyebrow and eye makeup):

However, if you have super oily skin, I would not suggest this foundation for you because this foundation does leave the skin feeling a oily after a few hours. I don’t really have oily skin but I would have to use blotting paper throughout the day to get the oiliness off my skin (see picture below). I would be fine for about 1-2 hours but after that, my face would feel oily again. At the end of the day, I would just feel super icky from my face. So I do like this foundation because it makes my skin look flawless but I can’t stand the oiliness I get from it. So if you do end up using/trying this foundation, just be sure to carry blotting paper with you!
