Holiday Feels & Black Friday Deals

The HOLIDAY SEASON is here and THANKSGIVING IS TOMORROW! What are you thankful for?

This time of the year is always full of love, joy, and FOOD! This is the time for families to gather and spend time together. This is the time where family pictures are taken, so I’ve decided to come up with a few holiday looks for you. Keep reading till the very end to see upcoming Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) deals from different beauty brands!

The simple yet elegant look.

Foundation: Fenty Beauty By Rihanna Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation Color 250. If you are golden/peachy tan skinned like me, then this is the color for you. I will write about this foundation in a later blog. I wear this foundation because it is full coverage and light weight. Great for pictures! You can get this at your local Sephora or on Sephora’s site.

Contour: Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer. I like to use this for a simple face contour. You can get the mini or full size.

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Primer to prime my eyebrows. I use this because I have thicker eyebrows and the hair tends to go downwards, so this helps with waxing the hair upwards a bit. You can get that here. Brow Primer Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define (COLOR: 05 Deep – dark brown to black (warm)) to color and shape my brows. This is simple to use and I like the way it makes my eyebrows look more full and real. Here is the link to purchase.

Eyeshadow: I always use a skintone neutral color as a base coat before putting on eyeshadow. I do this to make my eyelids all one color just in case my eyelids have different color spots, and it also helps to make the eyeshadows (that I put on afterwards) pop out. I use the shade birthday suit (matte) from Karity. Colourpop Golden State of Mind Shadow Palette is what I used for my main eyeshadow look. I used Unsupervised as my base and crease. Following that, I used Wing Woman for the outer base going inwards and up towards my crease. Then I used Watch Out for my inner lids all the way to the middle and also blending it into my crease. I used a little of Pay the Piper at the very inner of my eyelids. I used Unsupervised for my bottom lash line as well. Finally, I just blend it all out. See the palette and swatches below:

You can get this palette here.

I didn’t use any eyeliner because I wanted to show more of my eyelashes and to keep the look more simple.

Mascara: Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara is bomb. You can get the full size or the mini. It also comes in a waterproof version (and a mini version).

Lips: I used Kylie Cosmetics Harmony Velvet Liquid Lipstick and lip liner. Then I used Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in the shade Mystical as a topper. See the products and swatches below:

Get Mystical here and Harmony here.

Highlight: I used Too Faced Love Light Prismatic Highlighter (shade Blinded By The Light) for a subtle, elegant look. This highlighter is not that pigmented, which makes me like it for a more casual highlight. It is build-able to a poppin’ highlight! You can get it here. See the product and swatch below:

The Holiday Festive Look (lol)

Foundation and Eyebrows: the same as above. Contour is the same as above as well, I just used a little more for a nose contour as well.

Eyeshadow: Colourpop All I see is Magic Pressed Powder Shadow Palette. I used T-Cup as my base and crease. I used Something Special on the outside going inwards and in my crease. Then I used the cut crease method with a concealer. On top of the concealer, I used Twinkle Toes. Then on the inner lid and the inner core wraped to the bottom, I used Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Killawatt Freestyle Highligher in the color Trophy Wife. You can buy the Colourpop palette here and Trophy Wife here. See products and swatches below:

Eyeliner: Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper. You can get it here

Eyelashes: fake lashes from Walmart. Wear any falsies with this look!

Highlight: Same as above (cause I went to class and I didn’t want to blind my classmates lol) but I build it to pop a little more.

Lips: Chanel Rouge Allure 148 Foudroyante then I topped it with Huda Beauty Lip Stobe in the shade Foxy. I only topped in the middle of my lips and used my finger to press and spread it. Get Foxy here and I can’t seem to find the Chanel Lipstick online. See products and swatches below:

Eyeshadow: Juvia’s Place The Saharan II eyeshadow Palette. I used Taza (an orange red) as the base and crease. Then I followed with Zohra (deep red/burgundy). I used Nomad (red shimmer) on the lids. I used Hadiya (gold tan shimmer) underneath my bottom lash area. This palette is so pigmented and so affordable. You can get it here. See product and swatches below:
