Huda Beauty Obsessions

My friends encouraged me to start beauty blogging due to my love for all things beauty and that is the reason for this first blog! So lets jump right into it!

My first beauty review is over the NEW HUDA BEAUTY mini eyeshadow palettes: which one will be your favorite OBSESSION? I absolutely love the two eyeshadow palettes that Huda Beauty has, and so when Huda Beauty launched these mini palettes, I knew I had to get my hands on them. Keep reading for my review and swatches of these bad boys.

Review:

There are four obsessions eyeshadow palettes: Warm Brown Obsessions, Smokey Obsessions, Electric Obsessions, and Mauve Obsessions. Each palette is a small compact palette with a mirror that comes with 9 different shades. These are perfect to travel with anywhere and the colors are so beautiful. Most of the shades are pigmented. All of the shimmer/metallic shades are very creamy and glides on so beautifully. A few of the darker shades (like the black, dark brown, dark burgundy/plum) are a little bit chalky but still buildable/workable. These palettes are versatile and you can create so many different looks: bold, daring, dramatic, subtle, natural, etc.

Her previous eyeshadow palettes are $65 but they had many different unique shades. I believe her intent of creating these mini palettes were to give people the option to have many different beautiful colors at an affordable price. The dimension of the palettes are 20 x 71 x 84 mm, and they are $27 (not including tax) each (pretty affordable for a higher quality product). You can get these on Huda Beauty’s website or you can find them at your local Sephora or on Sephora’s website. If you want to get your hands on these beautiful palettes, I would suggest to get them from Sephora on Nov 10-15 because they will be having their annual Beauty insider sale: ROUGE: 20% off Nov 3-6, Nov 10-15 20%. VIB: 20% off Nov 10-15. Beauty Insider: 15% off Nov 10-15. So these palettes can be ~$21-$23 (not including tax).

Overall, I love these palettes and these will be going with me when I travel (I’m so tired of carrying all of my big palettes and having to worry about them breaking). The Mauve Obsessions palette is my favorite out of the four, most likely because I tend to wear those color shades more.
