So Influenster sent me a Voxbox with some Dr. Brandt products. The one that they wanted me to test out was Dr. Brandt Radiance Resurfacing Foam.
It comes in a pretty blue ombre white bottle with a plastic shaving/blading tool. The bottle feels super light, almost feels like as if they bottle was empty, but it is most likely because of the product being a foam type substance.
The box states that this “self-foaming action activates alpha hydroxy acids, which chemically smooth and even skin tone. A no-blade tool sloughs off dead skin cells to help reveal smoother, more radiant skin. The leave-on formula generates a moisture reservoir that instantly hydrates for up to 72 hours.”
I tested this product out for about a month, using it twice a week (per instructions). Below is my before/after picture. Left picture (lol this is my mug shot picture) is before ever using the product and right picture is after using the product (but right before using the product one last time). Please note that the picture is also different lighting (left was taken in the very morning and right was taken very late at night).
For application, the direction states: “On clean skin, apply a generous layer to full face. Leave on for 60 seconds allowing product to foam. Using the no-blade tool, glide in an upward motion with gentle pressure to lift away the layer of foam. Massage any residual product into skin.” The first time I used this, I didn’t use enough product on my face so it didn’t foam up. So I had to add more product for it to foam. This is probably the thing I hate the most about this product. I have to use a lot of product for it to foam on my face and I have to use/spread equal amounts on my face or it will not foam equally on my face. So essentially, I am using way too much product (in my opinion) every time I apply this. Usually for skincare products, I apply like a dime-size amount, but I was using more than a quarter-size amount. However, I will say that watching the product foam on my face was pretty interesting. Once the product foamed, I would use the tool provided to “blade” the product off my face in an upward motion. I would notice as I am doing this that the residue on the blade would be a little brown, so maybe I was scraping dirt off my face. After I finished blading, I would pat the remaining product into my skin. I am not a fan of that because it left my skin feeling oily and greasy (see pictures below).
Luckily, after using the product, you can continue with your skincare routine, so my skin didn’t feel oily and greasy after my skincare routine.
After about a month use, I honestly didn’t see any difference in my skin from using this product. I also think its because I haven’t used it long enough to notice anything but I don’t like how it makes my skin feeling oily/greasy after use and I don’t like that I have to use so much product on my skin. So I will not continue to use this nor would I ever or suggest anyone to buy this product.
Let me know your thoughts and what I should review next!

I hate when products make your skin feel greasy.

Hello
I’m trying to find it or find info on what I can use instead of it but it doesn’t say anywhere
I got the same package from Influenster but they never sent me the scrape tool
I wonder, is there anything special with the scraper, like is it a really sharp edge or is it the same as any other plastic scraper (like the cream hair removal scraper) what would you suggest me using as a scrape?
Thank you so much for any help!

Chloe, it should have came inside the actual Dr. Brandt Radiance Resurfacing Foam Box. You may want to check inside that box.
There is nothing special with the scraper (to my knowledge). It is just a plastic scraper and it doesn’t have any sharp edges. I think any other plastic scraper would do, but not to scrape your face hard with it, because this tool is literally just like wiping the product off (if that makes sense).
I hope that helps!
